Mutoni Peace
Heritage Research Scientist
Mutoni Peace is completing her bachelor’s degree in Tour and Travel Management at the University of Tourism and Technology Business (UTB) in mid 2026. A heritage advocate in Rwanda, she works at the Red Rocks Initiative for Sustainable Development near Musanze in the Northern Province, where she is the women’s empowerment officer, coordinating their program and overseeing daily activities within the organisation. She supervises pottery making, basket weaving, local food preparation, banana beer making, traditional dance and music, and manages activities in the traditional garden. At GDH, she has been trained in museum photogrammetry and video editing, and she is conducting interviews, creating film subtitles, translating, and undertaking other activities that integrate tangible and intangible heritage documentation.
